Judy Griffin to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

FORT WORTH, TEXAS, UNITED STATES, March 8, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — In a world where one out of two people are expected to have cancer in their lifetime, many people are returning to healing herbs and time-honored remedies to improve health. Today, we can explore ancient, restorative powers of healing herbs, flowers, and essential oils.

Judy Griffin is an internationally known herbalist, and aroma therapist, with a PhD in the expanding field of nutrition. She creates and produces over 500 Aroma Health Texas products. Dr. Griffin’s products tap the body’s self-healing mechanisms. She helped her twin son and daughter, overcome immune deficiencies when doctors did not expect them to live. Later, she restored a 50% hearing loss in her youngest child, then healed Crohn’s in her own small intestine without using drugs.

Judy traveled over 20 years learning healing herbs from diverse cultures. Dr. Griffin authored Mother Nature’s Herbal, a multi-cultural classic, including hundreds of remedies, culinary and skin care recipes. Each chapter teaches how ancient cultures prepared herbs and avoided any toxic properties. The book explains organic gardening, companion planting, landscaping, and pet care for aspiring herbalists. Flowers That Heal is a humorous fairytale teaching aroma therapy and herbal techniques. Judy includes 40 years of research developing the Petite Fleur Essences. Dr. Griffin explores the remarkable healing qualities of herbs and flowers affecting mental, emotional, and physical health, simultaneously.

How important is the care and quality of products to assure effectiveness?

“Specific growing conditions and appropriate harvesting assures quality. For example, our echinacea roots are harvested after 3-5 years, in the fall, to obtain the most medicinal benefits. Our aromatic flower essences and essential oils, are steam distilled, over low heat, in glass, and hand separated without hexane, a petrochemical by-product, used with commercial essential oils.”

Dr. Griffin’s topical products are so pure they have been used in hospitals for over 20 years. “I initially created aroma blends for bone marrow, stem cell, and organ transplant patients. Soon, I was creating blends for all cancers, sickle cell anemia, lymphedema, heart and lung disease, pre and post-surgical procedures, high-risk pregnancies, chemically dependent, palliative care and hospice patients.

Judy also developed personal care products that are free from chemical scent and parabens. Why are these better than commercially manufactured, personal care products? “Parabens have been linked to cancer. Chemical scent definitely harms wildlife.”

Judy strongly cautions about the imminent environmental dangers affecting all of us. These pollutants are flowing into our water, air, and soil, challenging our foods, aromatic plants, and healing herbs, with lead, mercury, cadmium, and arsenic. These cancer-causing substances certainly contribute to why one of two people are expected to have cancer in their lifetime.

Judy Griffin helps thousands of people and pets, through personal or phone consults, and therapeutic products.

CUTV news will feature Judy Griffin in an interview with Jim Masters Monday March 12th at 2 p.m. at 2 p.m. EST.

Listen to the show on BlogTalkRadio.

In the last ten years, photography as a hobby has fallen into decline.

SARASOTA, FL, UNITED STATES, February 16, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — In 2007, over 55 million Americans were partaking in photography as a hobby at least once per month.

By 2017, this number had fallen sharply to barely 40 million, according to Statista, the market research portal.

These numbers have not gone unnoticed by keen photographers such as Chaitanya Cherukuri.

Based in San Marcos, Texas, Chaitanya Cherukuri is eager to help put photography back in the spotlight, and back on the list of top hobbies in the US. As such, he plans to host a free class for locals wishing to learn more about the basics of photography.

Indeed, as a hobby, photography now falls behind some 30 more popular interests among US citizens. These include fishing, gardening, swimming, playing golf, socializing, listening to music, and watching TV.

"I'd argue that it's because of the surge in popularity of smartphones," notes Cherukuri. "On the whole, people are more inclined to snap quick photos here and there on their cell, rather than using proper photographic equipment as they would've in the past."

Cherukuri credits his local area, at least in part, for his own continued love of photography.

"There's some great Victorian Gothic–style architecture," he says of the San Marcos area.

"Downtown, there are a variety of beautifully restored early 20th century buildings which are a joy to photograph. Then there's the classic car museum and several parks on both the San Marcos and Blanco rivers."

He continues, "It's a shame that more people, both in this area and further afield, aren't enjoying the hobby more regularly. I couldn't live without it."

Cherukuri hopes to entice newcomers to photography, while also reigniting a spark in those who've enjoyed the hobby previously but have since given it up.

"There's always something to photograph!" exclaims the avid photographer. "People are too happy just to play video games or watch Netflix now, instead of heading into the great outdoors, enjoying the scenery and capturing wonderful images of whatever they may come across."

From simple photography techniques to basic image editing tasks, Chaitanya Cherukuri hopes the class will appeal to all ages and levels of interest and understanding.

"Everyone is welcome," he says.

"If it's a success, maybe I can make it a regular thing," continues Chaitanya Cherukuri. "I'd love to host a competition for the best photograph, or see how people improve over coming weeks and months."

"Perhaps," he goes on to say in conclusion, "if there were enough people interested, we could start a San Marcos area photography club. I'd especially like that."

Details of Chaitanya Cherukuri's free photography class will be made available soon.

Regenerative Leadership Institute Launches The Suburban Homestead Online Design Course for Gardeners

Our course provides the perfect opportunity to really understand what [permaculture] is about.”

— Sarah Michelson

BEAVERTON , OR, U.S., January 26, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — Regenerative Leadership Institute is pleased to announce the launch of its new online course “The Suburban Homestead Design Course.” Created for gardeners and health enthusiasts alike, the course teaches participants how to transform their homes and gardens in order to live sustainably and healthily while keeping in tune with nature through permaculture design – the science of sustainable gardening and ecological landscape design.

Regenerative Leadership Institute spokesperson Sarah Michelson says that the course is generating a lot of interest from urban and suburban gardeners across the globe.

“Lots of people have heard about permaculture, but most aren’t really sure what it entails,” says Michelson. “Our course provides the perfect opportunity to really understand what it’s about, and more importantly, learn how to put the theories into practice.”

According to Michelson, permaculture offers a huge number of benefits to those who follow its principles. “You’ll be able grow wonderfully healthy, organic produce while saving water, saving money, and producing far less waste,” she explains. “You’ll be able to absolutely transform your property into a remarkably energy-efficient system!”

The Regenerative Leadership Institute course is a compressed 12-hour video version of the standard 72-hour Permaculture Design Course. It’s divided up into three parts. Part One covers the principles and design strategies of permaculture, Part Two reveals how to put that knowledge into practice, and Part Three consolidates learning with a final exam. After successfully completing the course, participants receive a certificate of achievement.

About The Regenerative Leadership Institute:

Founded in 2004, the Institute is on a mission to reconnect people with nature. With over 250,000 students in more than 190 countries around the world, a wide range of award-winning sustainable living workshops, courses, and books are available on the website, along with a thriving online discussion forum.

SMART CANNABIS CORP (OTCMKTS:SCNA)

SACRAMENTO, CA, USA, January 11, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — Smart Cannabis Corp., (OTC PINK: SCNA), announced today that its SMARTAPP for Apple iPhone and iPad is now available for download on their app store. The Next Generation Farming SMARTAPP was developed exclusively by Smart Cannabis Corp. to provide complete remote management for their Smart by Design line of automated greenhouses as well as to offer a stable software platform for other companies to license and build upon.

The SMARTAPP, known as NextGen Farm in the Apple App Store, is immediately available for download, free of charge, and includes demonstration mode – available by logging into the user and password as “demo”. Prospective clients can get a sense of controlling a live automated greenhouse environment similar to the interface and control system used by active clients who control their greenhouse system functions remotely. Enabling their clients to grow more efficiently with this app will result in a greater return on investment, making Next Generation Farming an essential all-around agritech solution for farmers.

The company will sell the SMARTAPP to existing and new client installations on a subscription basis and already has sales commitments for approximately fifteen SMARTAPP automation systems which it plans to install over the next 45 days.

Recently, the company entered a multifaceted joint venture with Singlepoint Inc. (OTC:SING) According to Smart Cannabis Vice President Don Smith, “In addition to the advanced automation control of greenhouse ecosystems, one of the goals with Singlepoint is to program in data collection and basic bitcoin blockchain transaction technology to allow cultivators to extend their control capabilities to include transactions within our SMARTAPP.”

Smith added, “We are also pursuing conversations with a number of agriculture companies to white label/OEM the SMARTAPP for commercial and consumer gardening applications that would benefit from mobile yet robust automation and control systems. Whether you have a backyard greenhouse, or a commercial food cultivation business, we believe our SMARTAPP can fill a product niche somewhere in that control spectrum”. According to Agrilyst, the marketplace for agriculture remote control systems is expected to generate over $21 billion annually in the U.S., as data is critical in helping cultivators reduce costs and refine their systems to increase productivity based upon the collection of historical data, and real time monitoring and control.

This year’s artwork will come from private collections and the Wilmington Art Association. Floral designers receive their art assignment from a blind draw weeks before the event.

Clutchi Capital Invests $100,000 in Plantshop.ae for Seeds

It’s already proving to be a profitable commodity and service. In my opinion it’s the next potential unicorn of the region.”

— Jazeer Jamal

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, December 30, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — Clutchi Capital headed by Jazeer Jamal (CEO & Founder) and Ajmal Sharafuddin (COO & Co-Founder) has invested $100,000 in Plantshop.ae for seeds. The business is currently being incubated under Clutchi Capital in Dubai, UAE.

Plantshop.ae is a business with a difference. Founded by Jimmy James, co-founded by 3 other partners and launched in the UAE in November 2015, Plantshop.ae is an online store offering a wide range of indoor and outdoor plants, terrariums, gardening equipment, soil, seeds, and fertilizers.

The company was created with a view to filling a void in the market. Plants can be difficult to find in the UAE, and many people lack the skills and knowledge to grow indoor plants, let alone cultivate an entire garden. Plantshop.ae provides a solution by offering people the opportunity to browse online through many varieties of plants which can be conveniently delivered to their doorstep. Information and expert advice on how best to care for the buyer’s chosen plants is provided at no extra charge.

Plantshop.ae is being recognized for its achievements in the business world and was a shortlisted nominee for the following awards:

• Best New Business of the year in SME Beyond Borders’ Stars of Business Awards, 2015
• In the top 30 of over 300 submissions for Dubai Chamber’s Dubai Smartpreneur Competition, 2015
• Finalist in Etisalat’s “Pitch Please!” 2016
• Best E-commerce of 2016 in SME Beyond Borders’ Stars of Business Awards 2015
• Seamless Awards’ Digital Transformation and Innovation of the Year 2017
• In the top 50 out of 700 Global Start Ups in Gitex Tech Week’s Gitex Future Stars 2017, Dubai.

Clutchi Capital made the decision to invest in Plantshop.ae for several reasons. According to Jazeer Jamal, CEO & Founder of Clutchi, it has a unique e-commerce idea that will lead to lasting social impact:

“The company has launched a number of worthwhile social entrepreneurship initiatives,” says Jamal.”It’s already proving to be a profitable commodity and service. In my opinion it’s the next potential unicorn of the region.”

As the first and largest online store selling plants in the Middle East, the site is already receiving over 10,000 unique visitors monthly.

About Plantshop.ae, and Plans for the Future:

Launched in 2015, the company’s website offers an extensive range of indoor and outdoor plants, gardening equipment, seeds, and fertilizers. Plantshop.ae has many future plans designed to improve customer experience, such as the use of augmented reality on the website, and chat bots to help with sales and support. Aside from the website, the company will be partnering with 7-Eleven stores in the UAE to sell plants in their convenience stores.

There are also global expansion plans in the works, for the GCC, Europe, and other Asian countries. The company is expecting to begin partnership talks with environmental agencies such as WWF in the near future. And the launch of forestation drives and campaigns is well under way, forestation being one of the company’s biggest goals.

Plantshop also plans a CSR initiative that will have them joining hands with local NGOs like Dar Al Ber to raise funds for the needy. This will be accomplished in the first phase by selling 10,000 plants to school children.

Plantshop.ae will be opening soon in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other GCC countries in 2018.

The click & collect channel in the UK is forecast to grow by more than 50% over the next five years, accounting for 13.9% of online sales by 2022. Though click & collect growth is set to outperform growth in the online channel overall, the pace of growth will slow as the click & collect market matures. While click & collect has experienced annual double-digit growth over the past five years, this will slow to single-digit growth by 2020. Clothing & footwear remains the dominant sector in the click & collect channel, and will further grow share to 2022 as clothing & footwear online sales continue to increase while electricals, the second largest sector in the channel, will lose share as electricals online sales become further saturated and growth slows.

Scope
– While growth in click & collect sales is still forecast to outpace that of the overall online channel, click & collect will be threatened by delivery saver schemes, which are becoming more widely available, and by the increasing number of fulfilment options, such as same day delivery for example and third-party pickup, which is set to be the fastest growing fulfilment channel to 2022.
– Minor sectors in the click & collect channel including furniture & floorcoverings, DIY & gardening and homewares will all benefit from retailer investment into click & collect, particularly from major market players including IKEA, Argos, B&Q and Dunelm. These home sectors combined are forecast to account for 5.7% of the click & collect market in 2022.
– Click & collect user satisfaction has declined significantly this year while user satisfaction for third-party pickup increased therefore retailers must ensure that they are providing an adequate experience for click & collect users who are looking for a fast, hassle-free service.
